The Northeast region of Vermont is a culturally distinct and geographically diverse area. It contains three counties, which each cover over 2,000 square miles in size. The terrain ranges from forests to hillsides with scenic overlooks that offer superb setting for  hiking and biking.

Itinerary

Day 1 St. Johnsbury - Lyndon - East Burk - Concord - St. Johnsbury (60 mi)

Ride out on quiet back roads into the beautiful Vermont forests. A couple of climbs but they can be enjoyed with almost zero traffic followed by a glorious descent into town.

Day 2 St. Johnsbury Second Loop - Lamoille Valley Rail Trail - Passumpsic River (59 mi)

Head out on the gorgeous Lamoille Valley Trail, enjoy an idyllic picnic spot and picture perfect photo ops before coasting downhill into town.
